Prepare your students with 21st century skills.
Leaders in entrepreneurship education
Our flagship entrepreneurial program. The Upstart Challenge is our entrepreneurial ideas challenge, accelerator and mentoring program for secondary school students. With our partners’ support, entry to this program is free of charge for students, to encourage and inspire them all to have a go, to develop critical thinking skills and connections, and to discover their inner changemaker.
The Upstart Challenge is mapped to the Australian Curriculum General Capabilities and relevant learning areas for years 8-10 and VCAL.
Why is the Upstart Challenge vital for today’s young people?
The world is changing fast. Covid-19 will undoubtedly fuel the next wave of innovation.
We need resilient people with an entrepreneurial mindset who can use critical thinking to identify and understand problems, create effective solutions and successfully take them to market, think differently and work collaboratively in an agile manner.
Entrepreneurialism is a toolkit of hard and soft skills; teachable skills, and the development of characteristics and traits that are essential regardless of career pathway.
From promoting social change, fuelling the economy to driving innovation, entrepreneurship is important for many reasons and in organisations of all sizes and types.
