Upstart Challenge 2017- pitching showdown

Was pretty much roped into it by my friends.

No.

• Talking to older students that I don’t know very well and working well with them.
• Speaking in front of large groups of people.
• Learning the correct format of how to pitch an idea.

Our problem was mental health problems in teenagers, and we built and developed the app FLO to help teens deal with any mental health issues.

Definitely, I think I will use a lot of the skills in school such as when doing orals in English etc, and we have already had opportunities to further develop our business and have been offered funding.

Meeting heaps of new people (students and adults) who all had lots of really amazing skills and learning different things about businesses in general even if those skills weren’t needed in our idea.
